Hi, Thank you so much for the info about amazon. What I have been trying to do is change my tablet over from android to windows7, as I cannot get any media on my tablet. Wish that had been on the box when I bought it last year.(Ha) Would you know how to do that, if so, please let me know. pat ________________________________ From: ETM <etm1935@gmail.com> To: marilyn E B <gen-newbie@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, November 9, 2011 11:03 AM Subject: Re: [GN] eBooks Marilyn, it should download from Amazon. I remember that it was pretty easy to do. I have all my books on my laptop, and usually I buy books from the laptop rather than from the eReaders. http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html?ie=UTF8&docId=1000426311&tag=googhydr-20&hvadid=7893047648&ref=pd_sl_3ies3d4yuc_b Elaine Is there another word for synonym? Which tablet do you have, Pat? The iPad is very friendly to Kindle for PC, though there are some restrictions. The Nook, of course, is a Barnes & Noble device, and it wants you to buy from them and read Barnes & Noble books. My NookColor is close to but not a full blown Android. I do have the Samsung Galaxy 10 tablet and that is full Android, it does accept applications for most of the eReaders. I haven't tried changing an Android to Win7, most everyone I have read seems to be trying to change TO Android <grin>. I admit I am not all that crazy about the Android OS myself.
