Melissa, See http://www.amazon.com/Flip-UltraHD-Video-Camera-Generation/dp/B0040702HA/ref=dp_ob_title_ce This looks like it will get the job done. Has USB and HDMI. Only has 2 hours of storage, so it would pay to have extra 8 GB chips around, some extra lithium batteries when the internal power runs down. I don't have one. Cameras nowadays can make videos, and I rarely use that feature. I need to get one for my daughter to take on a vacation soon, and just when I thought I was getting somewhere I read that the type of file the one(s) I was looking at are a big hassle and not easy at all to do anything with (proprietory mbt file extension, .mbt). I was specifically looking at the COSTCO website and the specific camera's description said it was easy to put on Facebook, Youtube, plus we want to put clips on DVDs, and play directly on the computer or TV. I know we need an HDMI hookup, and USB, but it's the type of files now that I'm confused about. So, if .mbt s are so difficult, how can the description say it's easy to do those things. :( What other file extentions are there, and which ones are best? I've only looked at Costco and Walmart. And the only thing we thought we'd decided on so far was wanting one of the 'barrel' shaped ones as opposed to the rectangular sort of flat ones. melissa ********************
