    3. Maxine Everyone using gmail will be transitioned to the "new look" at some point. Google is just giving you the option to take a peek ahead of time, or switch now. I switched last week. It's just a new way of showing you your mail. I'd suggest you switch and take the "tour" to see what's new. You're going to have to eventually!
