Good morning, Mozilla Thunderbird updated on me yesterday ( to 8.0 it appears) and now all the messages in my 'junk' seem to be "filtered". How do I remove that filtered option? Would restore to day before yesterday do it? Thanks. Maxine
I have version 8.0 but no junk folder. Are you refering to the SPAM folder? If you are refering to the toolbar where it says "quick filter" then they are only activated when you click on them. Please explain a bit more so we can make every effort to help you enjoy your T'bird On 10/11/2011 11:00 AM, Uptha Creek wrote: > Good morning, > Mozilla Thunderbird updated on me yesterday ( to 8.0 it appears) and now > all the messages in my 'junk' seem to be "filtered". > How do I remove that filtered option? Thanks Jim, I do have a junk folder, but it says they are in the trash. So when I go to file, empty trash, they do not empty. When I click on "delete message" it removes the message only but the date and location (trash) remains. There is an orange/red circle there with a white "stem" (don't know how else to describe it). I am going to answer this way, sending to both the list and Maxine. The icon you speak of is like a flame with a white centre? That is the spam or junk folder and when you go to file and delete you only delete those messages in the deleted items folder. To clear the spam folder you have to right click on it and then in nthe context menu nclick on empty junk and they will be gone. Try this and let us know if it works. I wanted to paste in a pic of the icon but it is not working for me, that is why I was sending to both the list and Maxine, but alas the computer has fooled me again.....LOL On 10/11/2011 11:48 AM, Uptha Creek wrote: > Thanks Jim, > I do have a junk folder, but it says they are in the trash.
