A fellow by the name of Randy Majors has done it! Finding a location's county in an historic time period has always been a challenge. Ani-Map is great, but has no geographic features information, so locations close to county lines are tough. Randy has done it one better! Go here: http://randymajors.com/p/maps.html Put in a location, choose a decade, and up will pop (well, it takes awhile to load) the map with the (then) county lines drawn out. To see the name of the county, click on the map. You'll love it! Pat In Tucson
I didn't find it easy to use. I typed in Fergus Falls, MN. All I got was a pointer, and a bunch of brown lines. I hit courthouses and got zilch.
