I have a question. But first let me explain why I am asking it. When I search websites such as familysearch.org, I like to copy any interesting results to a spreadsheet file for review later. Unfortunately, the search results on familysearch.org are not presented in a format that is easily copied into a spreadsheet. So, I have decided to write a small application that will convert the familysearch.org search results into a spreadsheet file. It will read the 'expanded' result directly, without having to open the preview, and with only 1 or 2 clicks of the mouse. If I write this app just for myself, I won't bother to make it user friendly. So, my question is this... Would anyone else be interested in this (free) application? Les Hardy
I would be willing to try it. I currently copy/paste into Word (having lost my Word Perfect program) and I don't like it. To much cleanup to do to make it usefull. Les -- I would be another one who would like to use your application when you create it. That would be a great help. Les, while I am just learning to use Excel I would like a copy of your application, please. It just might make the learning curve a bit easier. When you have it made, do you think it would be possible to put it on line so all those interested (including me!) could get it and you wouldn't have to send it to everybody? Yes please. This sounds really interesting. I also like 'free' very much these days. I would also like a copy. I will also need toddler instructions on how to use. Marilyn On Wed, Dec 28, 2011 at 10:04 AM, Les Hardy <les@webmayo.com> wrote: > I have a question.
