The files that were removed from Keith were cookies and other items connected with signing in to sites. Keith was very unhappy about having to redo them. His computer was not disabled, I've known no one to mention a computer being disabled by CCleaner, but it does clean cookies unless you instruct it not to or to delete some but not others. I use Roboform for passwords so cleaning those files would not be an issue for me. Though I admit that I do keep them and have unchecked the items in CCleaner. For Bobbie, I recommend that she use Trend OR Microsoft Security, NOT both. Elaine Hello Sue On Thursday, December 8, 2011, you wrote > Thanks for everyone's input. Thank you Elaine, someone said on here that if you use 2 AntiVirus programs they work against each other. I will remove one. Appreciate the help.....Bobbbie > Date: Thu, 8 Dec 2011 18:55:37 -0500 > From: etm1935@gmail.com > To: suesouthard@suddenlink.net; gen-newbie@rootsweb.com > Subject: Re: [GN] Replacement for Ad Aware > > The files that were removed from Keith were > cookies and other items connected with signing in > to sites.
