Pat, Correct me if I'm wrong, and I could be, but I think 'username' in account settings will be a specific user name for the email account. If this is changed, the email account will not work. I apologize. What I meant was, at the top of that screen, it says "user information" and then "name." This is different from the "user name" in the box toward the bottom of the screen. Yes, indeed, if you change that, you have to change the "user name" with your ISP. Hi Pat, You're right of cause, I had forgot there was the 'name' in 'user information'. I was going from memory, and it's been a few years since I setup Outlook for anyone.
