Should it work out, I would save the .pst file to your documents and change the name temporarily by adding a number or letter to it so when you remove the 2010 again, which you will have to do if the restore works and then you can change the file back to the correct name and it should then work for you. Someone a bit more knowledgeable than I could help get the .pst file into the right place after or you can just look at the location where it resides after the restore and then replace it there after deleting 2010.
