    3. Marilyn, For possible other details, you might want to check with the cemetery he was buried as they may have other incidental information. I don't recognize if he is buried in a National Cemetery or not so possibly checking with the locate VFW post may also provide more incidental information. Also his hometown VFW group may have some info. IE: I have a friend whose Uncle died in WWII, was buried in France. His hometown VFW has my friend's Uncle's complete file archived at his local VFW.
