    3. How to copy with drag and drop. 1. Start the application you want to copy FROM 2. Start the application you want to copy TO 3. Select the text you want to copy 4. Hold down the left mouse button, and drag the text into the application you want to copy TO If both applications are not visible on the screen, this is not a problem. The bottom task bar displays the icons of your open apps. 1. When you start the drag, just drag over the taskbar icon of the application you want to copy TO (don't drop yet) 2. The application will pop up 3. drag the text into the application you want to copy TO 4. Drop the text where you want it.
