If buying online, make sure that the 3.5 ext floppy one buys has some decent reviews or is established as reliable. I bought a "real deal" and it didn't work at all.. About $20 if I remember right. Has been handy and can travel between both computers... I went to smart-disk.com but did not find what I thought you were talking about. Exactly what did you buy? I thought I had transferred all data from old floppies to CD's but occasionally find a file where I saved some floppies. I recently found some which have information from the archives in Germany and I really would like to get that off the floppy and onto a disk. Thanks. The one I saw was guaranteed money back for 90 days. 12.95 plus 6.99 shipping. I will continue to look around, though. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Woody Woodworth" <boguswoody@aol.com> To: <gen-newbie@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, December 26, 2011 5:38 PM Subject: Re: [GN] Moving files from floppies - reference Carol's email tolist > If buying online, make sure that the 3.5 ext floppy one buys has some > decent reviews or is established as reliable.
