    3. Hi Les, XP proffesional updates ect is active antivirus off I have reinstalled but still not turned on I like AVG I dont know what to do next Doreen

    3. Doreen, Are you running 'Windows Defender'? If you are, turn Windows Defender' off, and do a full reinstall of AVG.
