Nancy, Windows has built in support for zip files. Right-click on the file you downloaded, and choose 'Extract All' from the popup menu. Then follow the prompts, and a folder will be created with the application in it. You can move the application anywhere you like to run it. Zip files are just compressed folders. It is a common way of transporting files across the internet.
