Susan, we all rejoice with you!! I acquired an old family Bible in much the same way, and in it was my second great grandfather's birth date. Janet, Please explain what you mean by pull it off the two files. I still have my AOL email and I checked it this morning and even tho I had nothing else there from Gen-Newbie, I did have the one message from nomorerack. I merely hit the button mark as spam, followed the prompts and was rid of the message. Once again I saw the message to click on to receive no more messages. Why haven't you used that to stop the messages if they bother you so much. I remember from earlier messages that someone tried this and followed through to be sure their name had been removed and it had. Woody, The problem is I cannot pull it off of the two files. It is stuck there with no way of removing it. When I had it before it disappeared by itself one day but now it is back. I too think the Suzy's address book was stolen. Nomorerack seem to be vicious spammers and I would never buy anything from them. Since you mentioned AOL, I will write to them and ask for their help. Never mind. You have to download it to type on it. Fuzzy brained moment. Connie Doing 2013 taxes. Have always been able to go to IRS.gov, open the form and type in the information. Now when I try it (on 2 different computers), the form just rotates to the left, and I can’t do a thing. Would someone try this out and see if it’s somehow me (like a virus) or the IRS? Otherwise, has that changed and you can no longer do that? Connie

I use Last Pass and somehow I got it free. Do not remember how, unless it was an add-on when I downloaded Google Chrome. I see by the site below that there is a cost for it. For me Last Pass works great. I will have to read the others to see what they offer, but right now I am satisfied. OK Woody - I think I understand now, the cookies are not required to operate a program, just to let them know who said what about what topic, So I will delete them as soon as I run ccleaner again in a few minutes. I think too that if any other different ones show up perhaps I will recognize a program associated with them. Need more info. When you click on "Computer" and it shows C: drive and your D: and maybe E: drives, does it show the Lexar with a drive letter? If it does you're OK. If the Lexar doesn't show up as one of your drives when you click on "Computer", you have a problem with the Lexar. Drives don't show up on the desktop as far I know. And I don't like to mess with saving stuff on a desktop because my screen is crammed with icons that I use, and anything newly added is hard to notice or find. My technique for saving files to a thumb drive or external drive is to create two half screens with one exposing a folder showing the source, and then I drag a file or highlighted files from the source drive to a destination folder on the other drive.
