Try contacting the Los Angeles Public Library. On the library's website I found this: Ask A Librarian Call or fax the infoNow unit of the Central Library for quick answers to your questions between 10 am and 5:30 pm Monday through Friday: Telephone: 213-228-7272 Fax: 213-228-7369 By aware that the library also has an online obituary index that turned up nothing when I queried both "Voget" and the more common "Vogt." It is noted, however, that the index is more complete from the 1970's to present. Post on the county's web site. One such site is the Los Angeles Co. USgenweb. http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.california.counties.losangeles/mb.ashx I've have had many good people (my "angels") come through for me. Some may charge for their services (research time, gas money, etc.) Many will not accept payment. One such person was that way, so I sent him a couple of books of stamps so he would have the postage to mail obits to other people he did look ups for. Many libraries also charge a nominal fee. Even if the library I've contacted doesn't charge for their services, I send them some money to help support their program. They can put it where they need it the most.; postage, genealogy dept., etc. I hope this helps. Smile! Thanks, Duncan! Connie Thank you, Connie! Someone asked a question I CAN answer. I've had the same experience. What I learned is that, when the blank page appears, you need to hit "refresh." The results of your original search will then reappear. Duncan Using Firefox, 27.0.1, Win 7. I don’t know if there’s a preventive cure for this. I google something, get results, click on one, read what’s there, hit the back arrow to the list of results and get a blank page. I know to reload the page, but this never was a problem in the “old” days. What’s that about?

For malware,, Use the free version of Malwarebytes,, Spy hunter is dubious at best and is also including stuff found in the registry most of which is always there. Every lil hiccup gets included...and has a very low rating for reliability and quality , , , , ditch it and stay as far away as possible....It really isn't effective at all and I would classify it as Scamware...
