Ethel was born about 1910 in Virginia, then married a Paul Rossi Slay, probably about 1930. Paul was born 1902 MS.They lived in Washington DC until Paul went into the military 1942. He stated he was single no dependents. We know they had a daughter born 1934, who was raised in a children's home in DC., put there about the age of 7-9. According to that child?s birth record there was a previous child but no knowledge about that one. We do no know if they married in DC or possibly VA. I had a search done in DC with no results. These people are the grandparents of my stepchildren. They know nothing of their mother or their mothers family which is very sad. The one thing they do know is their grandfather Paul worked on a fishing vessel out of Tampa FL where he was washed overboard in a storm in May 1965, body never found. We would love to know something about Ethel. Any clues would be greatly appreciated. 3. Woody, Thanks for your crystal-clear instructions to get Gmail to return your e-mail to the inbox. The last time you posted instructions, I followed them as best I could but it apparently wasn't good enough. It didn’t work. This time your instructions were presented so clearly only a nitwit would not be able to follow them. Woody, I’m a nitwit. It didn’t work. I did exactly what you showed, step by step. But I still don’t get postings of my submissions back. I POP my e-mail from Gmail into Windows Live Mail. But my postings don’t show up there, nor in my Gmail Inbox on the Web. Have you any other ideas or suggestions? TO ALL GMAIL USERS: Here is the link and fix I created that shows how to fix Gmail so that Gmail does not delete your distributed posts out of Rootsweb. (Gmail thinks it is spam because it appears your own sender address was spoofed.) http://www.minco-ok.com/temporary12/gen-newbie/ Before I found that fix on another site, I was getting paranoid thinking that the list admin was deleting all of my gmail posts. 2. Nancy
    3. Lately I have clicked on a link to contact companies or people. The link seems to take me to MS Outlook (options looks like an MS document) but there doesn't seem to be a way to send the e-mail. I can save a sent e-mail, delay delivery, change the theme, lots more things but I cannot send it. Nancy

When I pull up a page it is black (blank), I can hit the backward and or forward marked at the bottom of the page and it will appear with data and is white and can be read. Then hit the forward and or backward button to the page that I wanted in the first place and that page comes up and is in white and can be read. A pain to follow these steps but have been able to navigate so far. Any solutions for this problem. ellen Smile!
