ever recovered or found their lost "hibernate/standby" file? I deleted a program that I was not using and found several days later my p.c. would not go into hibernate!!! I googled and tried to follow the many suggestions and none of them worked. Has anyone had success at locating the needed file? I also emailed the program makers and they have not responded. I used Revo UnInstaller. Thank you. Carol
Hi Juanita. Wow!! To see the surname CURRIER!!! Probably not the one you are searching on, but we had a Dick Currier who owned an Indian Motorcycle when i was a ten. We used to go around our area and look for hills to have hill climbs on. Dick Currier never got whipped on one hill climb i ever attended. Viola.

If she were well known, there may be an announcement of her death in her former home as well as Phoenix. Perhaps the cemetey will have more info on her. juanita > I'm trying to locate an obituary for Edith Arminia Griffith who died > 20 April 1921 in Phoenix, Arizona. Hi Carol, Did you look in your recycle bin, or try doing a system restore using one of the older dates? I know that you used Revo Uninstaller - I've used that in the past - I'm sure you checked the deleted files there but I'll mention it in case. In the end, screaming helps a lot, as well as chocolate. Pat, from your description in last paragraph, I believe that is what I have been doing, so perhaps trying to "save as" with your suggestions will do the job for me. I appreciate your time and help. Fred, I am not sure if you have an application problem or not, but the easiest way to duplicate a file independent of any application, is this... Outside of any application, locate the file and select with a single-left-click, and then do any of the following... Press CTRL + C then CTRL + V or Right-click and choose 'Copy', then right-click and choose 'Paste' Either way you will duplicate the file. You can then name it anything you like... Hi Anne, First thing. Don't take the Microsoft message seriously. Just ignore it. Its just another of the numerous pointless messages churned out by a windows system. The software will be fine. Just continue through any prompts and install it. The reason you get the message is this... You will notice, in the Corel PDF Fusion feature list, they state... "Create new PDF documents from within any application that can print" To do this, the software installs a pdf file printer. This is just to be able to create a pdf file as though you were printing. It is a common way of providing a pdf export for applications. So, you have nothing wrong, just install and enjoy. Regards Les Hardy On 28/11/11 01:03, Anne DiStefano-Ring wrote: > PDF Fusion

I recently purchased PDF Fusion by Corel to use on my computer which uses Windows XP. The system requirements for the software said that it worked with Microsoft Windows XP. I got it so that I could convert existing word documents to PDF's and vice versa. The installation seemed to be going fine until a notice popped up that said: "The software you are installing for this hardware: printers Has not passed Windows Logo testing to verify its compatibility with Windows XP. Installation may impair or destabilize correct operation of your system." The Windows Help page I went to said to "Contact the hardware vendor directly and ask for a device driver that has met the 'Designed for Microsoft XP logo requirements'. I don't know if this is telling me that the software is not compatible with my system or if the actual printer my computer is currently defaulting to is not compatible with this program. If it's my printer, couldn't I just switch to my more current printer? Or are they referring to a part of the program that concerns printing? Who am I supposed to contact? Amazon where I bought the program, Corel who produced the program, or the printer company..? I'm stumped! Any help would be appreciated.. Anne
