Was just wondering about the MIWI. Does anyone on here use it? Does it work well and will it interfere with my setting for my wifi at home for my tablet and laptop. I am thinking about buying one from a person on a group I belong to it is a Verizon, is it possible to use this with another service. Thanks for any info. Pat

Bottom line is Flash player will not work with the win8 basic version your are using. As far as putting XP on it,, I won't say it won't work, but I suspect the system board and other hardware might be a big problem if there are no XP drivers. I really don't think it is a viable option, and you would be better off upgrading the version of win 8 you are using. Hi all, Recently bought new computer with window 8 preview release installed with the new "Metro" startup screen. Am getting it customized pretty well to my liking except: I can't get flash to work in IE [9 enabled] and supposed to have the latest v11 flash for IE embedded as part of the OS. I even tried reinstalling from the website and it still is not recognized. FireFox 18.0.1 installed and works for browsing, but websites do not appear correctly, nor Gmail. Would you like to get off and stretch your legs?" The blind lady said, "No thanks, but maybe Buddy would like to stretch his legs." Picture this: All the people in the gate area came to a complete standstill when they looked up and saw the pilot walk off the plane with a guide dog for the blind! Even worse, the pilot was wearing sunglasses! People scattered. They not only tried to change planes, but they were trying to change airlines! True story.

He worked at jack Blank Pontiac in the late 50s/early 60s and Redskin & Senators players would sometimes come to our house to pick up cars after hours. I am the one who is running wireless Verizom. Love it,but don't love IE. I was ready to junk my PC and didn't think there was a chance in the world it could be fixed. So I thought I couldn't mess it up anymore ,why not uninstalling and reinstalling IE8 from Microsoft website. It made a big differance. Only now some of the time it doesn't want to close from one web site to an other. except for that I have my PC back I could use some help with this problem.I think my luck has run out this time. Due to some family medical problems, I decided to take the computer to a shop. I don't think that I will ever use that shop again as they really messed up the computer. I couldn't even boot the computer afterwards.I reinstalled the operating system. Bruce

I'v tried them all thinking may be the new think pad's didnt work. No response from any of them. For some reason they just don't open .
