    3. Lets get this straight now.....you want to import mail from windows mail, that is the mail already there? This is a great question which I cannot answer as I have never been in that situation. You can POP the mail to T'bird but as for that which is already downloaded I really don't know, sorry will have to do some looking. 3. Don't buy either one! Use Thunderbird which is free and Firefox for your browsing and you will much more pleased with them. Just MHO but from day one I did not use Microsoft mail programs or browser and never wanted to. My first computer had Netscape on it and as soon as T'bird and FF came out I had them on my computer. I only fire up the windows programs if I am trying to help someone with a problem but otherwise they sit dormant. What I like about them is that they never change the basic operation, they update and improve but the operation of them is always the same across all versions of windows operating systems they work the same. 1. [GN] printing from google chrome
    2. Hi I just emailed Keith this question, but thought I would also ask the list the question too...I just installed your suggested chrome app and it didn't help. Here is what I did this morning: I uninstalled CHROME and re-downloaded CHROME. Here is my current problem. I have 2 printers installed on my window XP: My color printer(hp photosmart p1000..which prints great from a regular photo BUT on GOOGLE CHROME print it does not offer any choices of color OR black/white. BUT if I change printers to my old black cartridge Apollo P-1200 printer, the google print offers bot b/w and color, but of course it only prints in black.Any ideas on how I can get google chrome to reset itself so that when I want to print from my HP photosmart printer that google offer both black and color options? Thanks much...JOHN ____________________________________________________________ Woman is 53 But Looks 25 Mom reveals 1 simple wrinkle trick that has angered doctors... http://thirdpartyoffers.juno.com/TGL3131/5128005fc2b255f73ddst03vuc

    3. Dora, it does more than surf the net, but it is a cloud user and work is done in the cloud. Eastman mentioned some time back: "Google and Samsung advertise that there are thousands of free apps available today. However, it might not run your favorite genealogy program. Instead, it is limited to online genealogy programs, such as New FamilySearch, WeRelate.org, The Next Generation, PhpGedView, Ancestry.com, Geni.com, WikiTree.com, MyHeritage.com, FamilyTreeExplorer, and a few others. " WikiTree is not bad, I already was there trying it out before I bought the Chromebook. I use the latest version of RootsMagic on my Windows computers. 3. Good, I am glad you are set up. What browser were you using previously? And do you have chrome on a Windows computer or did you buy a Chromebook? I have the Samsung Chromebook and like it quite a bit. It's very lightweight to take to the recliner when I shut down my Windows laptop which is used as a desktop and supporting a lot of peripherals. The Chromebook works very well away from the desk setup. I can read and send email and surf and read my Kindle books which are in the cloud. And last night I set it up to receive Instant Videos via Amazon (I am a Prime member) and watched one of the Foyle's War episodes. So far the Chromebook has seriously impressed me. I see it being the inexpensive computer used by most school children in the very near future. I am not unhappy with it but still green. But I am enjoying learning it. Elaine Whether you think that you can, or that you can't, you are usually right. --Henry Ford (1863-1947) Hello S On Thursday, February 21, 2013, you wrote > Thanks for the info.
