Hi George, Well what a mess! We purchased an IPod yesterday and to make a long story short Lyle couldn't remember his email password. So we came home found the password and went back to the store. It wouldn't work. We finally created our IPod account in my name. In the meantime I began receiving messages from Apple asking me if the emails from Minnesota were legitimate. I related back that they were. Out of this mess which took several hours to straighten out apparently something happened to Lyle's g-mail account. We did manage to set a new password. And I discovered today that the box that said "Stay On" had been checked. I unchecked that so that he does have to use a password now to log on but it won't work with the The Thunderbird Message to log on with password. Now Thunderbird sends tells him to "Enter password on pop.googlemail.com - but his password is not accepted and he can't send. I have looked into his account on Thunderbird and I can't see what the problem is. I think you are probably correct in that something is not configured right. Our ISP is Time Warner. Thanks very much George. Trying to help him and also learn the IPod is a little more that my old brain can take. Appreciate your help. when i did marathon county wi, i started with the first wards listed and went page by page then i tried the next set of wards ... took me about a month (there are a lot of wards in marathon county). It looks like Butler has about 36 to search though. (those 36 also have smaller break downs) Start with Amanda... and just keep looking page by page.. I would limit my self to about 30 minutes at a time then get up and take a break. good luck, hugs jelayne On Thu, Apr 18, 2013 at 7:50 PM, Joyce Ann Junkin <[email protected]>wrote: > I tried www.mocavo.com . Thanks, Gini. People here might want to uninstall until this is straightened out. I don't use MalwareBytes but it is very popular and many people do. I recommend SpywareBlaster which is also free. She may have gone visiting somewhere else. You can search with first name and narrow it down to county and township. Sometimes the transcribers can totally see something other than what the census taker wrote down for surnames ... or someone just couldn’t spell her name. If you think any of her children are still with her, search by their given names. Search with a wildcard. Use 3 letters of the name and an asterisk or 2 (I don’t remember the exact rules offhand). My Piersons in Preble County called were called Pierceson by the census taker, and in 1870 one of the children, Alonzo Fremont Pierson, was called Oheemanth Pierson. Go figure that one out. I can’t. Connie Marilyn I subscribe to ancestry.com and believe me I have tried every which way to find her in the 1880 census. I could not even find my other great grandmother Katherine Daugherty Hedges married to Nathaniel Hedges in the 1880 census. They also lived in Hamilton Butler County Ohio.

Hi Everybody, We have a huge problem with G-mail on my husbands computer - hope I can explain this clearly. Yesterday we purchased an IPod. When we went to set it up in the store they used Lyle's G-mail address. He didn't know his password so we tried changing it and g-mail thought he had been hacked into. Anyway after a trip home and a trip back to the store we finally put the IPod under my name all is well with me. But! We are popping g-mail into Thunderbird for Lyle. So, when I went to gmail.com to test Lyle's new password a strange thing happened. I typed in the url and suddenly up came his g-mail account immediately without the window where you put in your user name and password. And- it's still that way he can get into his email account without using his username and password. So strange to me. I have Googled until I am blue in the face and find nothing at all that pertains to this problem. Can anyone help me. Should I delete his account off of Thunderbird or uninstall Thunderbird and try to create a new g-mail account and then pop into Thunderbird again????? How in the heck can I report this to G-mail? Appreciate your help in this frustrating situation. Yvonne

Married surname is Decker (Decher) sometimes the reading might have been Dicker. Her maiden name was Deinzer. I am researching my Junkin/Decker/Deinzer line. I am having a hard time locating my great grandmother Anna Marie(Mary) Decker/Decker in the 1880 census Butler County ,Ohio. Anna Marie(Mary) Deinzer Decker was born around 1844 in Hamilton Butler COunty Ohio to Michael and Mary Catherine Stahl and died in 1902 Hamilton Butler COunty Ohio On Dec 1873 she married Casper Decker/Decher . To this union were born Herman Henry March 1874 and Katherine Caroline Nov 1875. ( my grandmother ) . Casper Decker was born about between 1829 to 1832 in Hesse Darmstadt Germany . He immigrated to the USA around 1856 and settled in Hamilton Butler COunty Ohio. He served in the Civil War from 1861 to 1864 . In 1870 Butler County Ohio census he was listed as a lodger with the Meheahau (can not makeout exact sp) and he worked as a joiner carpenter. Casper died on March 15 1875 of the croup and congestion of the brain acquired during his service in the Civil war. Any ideas on how to locate Anna in the 1880 census. In the 1900 census Butler COunty she is living at 38 Stephens Street her daughter Katie ( my grandmother) and a boarder Albert Thomas Junkin who later became Katie's husband in Oct 23 two weeks after her Anna (Mary) death. Thanks Joyce Ann
Maxine: You have to go into the tools menu of IE and select google as your search provider, and make it your default search engine..Don't confuse the bing search banner that is on MSN with having to use bing. that banner will be on any page that MSN hosts. type your google query in the same place you would type a URL,,Worse case scenario give me a shout and we can use remote assistance and I'll set it up for you..it has nothing to do with xp just your browser..To change your home page go to the site you want be your home page than select the tools menu again, than select internet options in the next menu select use current page for home page..
