II Adam informs John that, whereas he granted to John a messuage and 2 carucates of land in Glos. called la Walles within the manor of Giffardesstoke for life, he has now enfeoffed Lady Margaret, widow of Sir John Giffard of Brymesfeld, and John Giffard, Sir John's son and heir, and John de Cailly must now do them fealty.
