Hi Freddie, I am around several yrs. The problem that you describe is a main reason way I ask for eventually possesion of the regulations. I was in contact with Italian Nobility Assocoation and thay have nothing on that. I am not trying to locate one family or one person arms. I am searching for info on Venetian regulations i.e. what and who was intitled to call him self patritian of venice etc.. Link that was kindly provided to me a not accurate i.e. Adam claims that Venice recognised all of Bosnian nobility as a Counts, in fakt all of high nobility which resisted Ottomans was able to keep the title thay have before I.E Knez etc. and those who didnt resist had granted Conte (Count)Veneto title if higher nobility. Untill this day I did not succed to find more on Venice/Dalmatia rules. meening not Croatian not austrian not napolen but rullles when Venice/Dalmatia was independent and hade a Doge. I am fully aweare of buklets shop existance and I am not going there... I check up with Croatians to, no results. I have a modest collection on Illyrian arms taken from Rietstap AG, Siebmacher etc... I have more on regulations on sc Illyrian heraladic regulations on i.e crestes etc... Local libraly is to far to me. I live in Sweden. Rgds. PS. A countless googling does not give me more :( [email protected] (Freddie the Crook Finder) wrote in message news:<[email protected]>... > On 9 Jun 2004 19:31:19 -0700, [email protected] (Dr) wrote: > > >Hi the Crook Finder, > >What has my questuion on venetian or/and dalmatian heraldic > >regulations to do with bookelt shops? > >Regulations are just that. thay are not arms. > >Rgds. > > Hi Dr, > > Call it guilt by association for lack of a better term. Dr, Please believe me, if you go to the google search engine, specifically the "Advanced Search", and where it says, "Find results with all of the words:" and on that line type in, "venetian dalmatian heraldic rules" you will get no less than 32 hits. I do not have time to explore each of them for you, but I can tell you that to me it looks like just the information you are looking for. this site: http://heraldry.mol.com.mk/oldest_arms_in_macedonia.htm It appears to discuss what and who was entitled to call himself Patrician of Venice. It speaks of 'Illyrians"and of an "Imperial Illyricom that was comprised of Macedonia, Bulgaria, Bosnia, Dalmatia, Crowatia, Slovenia, Raska and Serbia. There is also mention of The Regent (vicar) 0f Neapolis (Naples). I only looked briefly at 3 of the 32 hits, but If you have time and have not already, I suggest you look more closely here. The Mormon church has 3,700 libraries (Family History Centers) in over 88 countries. About 100,000 rolls of microfilm are circulated to these centers each month. It would not surprise me if they have the informatio you are looking for. If you have not, you should ask. I don't know where you are in Sweden, and do not know much about the country, but there are 26 Family History Centers there. Dr. I will be the first to admit that I don't have any idea of what you are trying to do, but I hope some of this information is helpful. Freddie The Crook Finder, confused, but trying to help. Catching crooks is a lot more fun, but I try.
