Does anyone know how to research the Italians that departed Albania for New Orleans, Louisiana? Any assitance would be greatly appreciated. I am specifically looking for Antonino DiBetta. I know he made it to New Orleans before 1899. Thanks, Wayne

Wayne, I don't know about any "Italians from Albania" straight to New Orleans but do know that many Sicilians that may have Albanian ancestry went to New Orleans, including my wifes maternal (Monteleone) and paternal (Macaluso) grandparents.
