Looking for ancestors of my great grandparents Vincenzo SMALDONE and Gerarda RIVIEZZI/O. Gerarda/Julia (Riviezzi) SMALDONE came from Potenza Potenza Italy. Her parents' names was Angela Racana/Rocana and Rocco Riviezzi. She had a brothers Pasquale and John possibly more. These siblings, except for parents, came to America abt. 1890 to 1899. I would also like to find the church that Gerarda/Julia (possibly had first name of Maria) was baptized in. She was born abt. 1864 in the city of Potenza. I am also looking for ancestors of Vincenzo SMALDONE. Vincenzo was born abt. 1853. His parent's names were Gaetano and Rosa Smaldone. Vincenzo had a sister Lucia who married an Antonio MURO. Possible brothers for Vincenzo are Rocco, Antonio and Saverio. The brothers all came to America abt. 1880. I believe Vincenzo and Gerarda were married in Italy around 1887. Hope someone can help me. Her mother's surname wasn't Rocana, which is very rare (only 1 in the phonebook and not in the Potenza area, but in northern Italy). The correct surname was Racana, well documented in Potenza.
