    3. Hi Charles, Are you sure Salvatore (correct name) was born in the province of Cuneo ? If so, you can try and contact the Cuneo's still living in that province. It's less than 10 people: <http://elenco.libero.it/elencotel/public/RisultatoComuni.jsp?nome=&cognome=cuneo&provincia=CN&prov=CUNEO> I've found Salvatore mentioned in the 1880 US Census, here: <http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/census/individual_record.asp?INDI_CODE=1880US%5F9992152%5F0&lds=5&region=0&regionfriendly=&juris1=&juris2=&juris3=&juris4=&regionfriendly=&juris1friendly=&juris2friendly=&juris3friendly=&juris4friendly=> He's named Salvadore (wrong spelling, correct one is Salvatore), he was born in 1846 (not 1864) and is 34 years old. His occupation is clerk, he's married and he's living in 1st Ward, Precinct 9, Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He's living in there with his wife Annie C. Cuneo, 18 years old, housekeeper, being born in PA, in 1862, and their daughter Rosa, 1 year old, who was born in Italy. Are you sure he was from the Cuneo Province ? I ask this as 50% of Italian Cuneo's are from the Genua province. Hope it helps, Fabio On Sun, 23 May 2004 18:30:14 -0400, "Charles P Cuneo" <[email protected]> wrote: >I am trying to get Info on a Salvatore (Salvadore) Cuneo.....He was born in 1864 somewhere in the providence of Cuneo...Sailed to the US (date Unknown) and settled in PA or NJ... > > He was single when he arrived..I Believe... got married in 187? and had either 8 - 10 Kids..... > > We believe he would be my 5th Generation Grandfather... > > Any help on Date and places would be greatly appreciated.
