Hello, (sorry, I do not speak any Italian) I hope, that someone can help me on. Are there any churchbooks of the church, that was used by the family Medici ? It could be the Church San Lorenzo in Florenz/Firenze. I'm looking for a Turkish girl or woman, who was baptized before 1691, there she got the name Anna Maria Louisa Medici. She was born somewhere in Turkey and came to Italy later (how and why and when ?). There in Firenze, I think, she becomes catholic and got the new name. Her origin name I don't know. Probably one of her godparents has been the Princess Anna Maria Louisa de Medici, who married a German Cure Prince in Duesseldorf. The Princess took her to Germany as one of her chamber women, later (1704) she married my ancestor. Thanks for any help Regina (from Germany)
