Chris, Just did a quick search for Piante in the Ellis Island immigration records. Look what I found. Name - Piante, Raffaele Ethnicity - Italian South Place of Residence - Rapolla Date of Arrival - June 01, 1907 Age on Arrival - 32y Gender - M Marital Status - M Ship of Travel - Neckar Port of Departure - Naples, Campania, Italy I can't copy the ship manifest, the site will not allow that function. You can look at it yourself though. Raffaele is on line 7 on the manifest. Ellis Island site is at http://www.ellisisland.org/ I think you have to register in order to see the manifest. But there is no charge. Take a look. Joe in Texas
