From The Cork Examiner, 5 November 1864 - A letter from Tusa, in Sicily, mentions a melancholy accident which has just occurred in the theatre of that town. A part of a teir of boxes fell into the pit during the performance, carrying with them the persons by whom they were occupied. Two men were killed, and several received serious injuries. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Dennis Ahern | Ireland Newspaper Abstracts Acton, Massachusetts | http://www.IrelandOldNews.com - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
