I have been searching for about 3 months now for information on my great grandparents. Rosaria (AGOSTO, AGOSTA) D'AGOSTINO and Paul (PAOLO) D'AGOSTINO (VAGOSTINO). So far all I have been able to learn about them is about my great grandfather. Here is the information that I have on him...born 1 Jan 1883 in Italy and died 18 May 1957. I think he died in Pennslvania but not 100% sure. His children's names were Anthony, Sylvester, Jospehine, John, Catherine, Grace and Jennie (Giovannia). I have absolutely no information on my great grandmother and that is really what I am in search of. I am also trying to figure out how I would go about getting birth records for at least my grandfather for right now. Thanks for any help that you can provide for me. There are 937 Agosto, 1,700 Agosta, 8,000 plus D'Agostino, and no Vagostino listings in the Italy phone directory on the Net at http://www.infobel.com/italy/. Many of the D'Agostino listings are businesses operated by family members. You need to know what town the families came from. Do you know when they came to the USA? What sources have you used so far to find what you have about them? Census returns? Immigration records? Joe
