I presume the civil records you give are in the LDS microfilm, but if not I now know what to say in any enquiry to Rome. (I looked through RG33 in the National Archives catalogue, and it doesn't include complete records for Rome, ie not the period in which I'm interested. So it's useful to know what civil records exist. )
