R.I.P. Is there any way I can find out how long he had been in Rome? I am also wondering whether his fourth child WINIFRED VARDON was born there. She would have been born after 1881. It is not impossible that his daughters Marie and Winifred died in Rome, as I have not (yet) found trace of them as adults.
