The hand written part is always the worst, somtimes you can find letters that you know for sure and compare it to others that you are in doubt about. Latin is even worse, but after a while you can get so you can figure them out enough to get the information you need. The marriagge certificates are neat, they often give you the profession of the groom as well as the professions of the father's of the couple and their addresses too. It is said to be the most accurate of the documents as all the information is given by the people themselves, unlike a birth or a death certificate.
