Hi Maria, Have you tried asking the San Biagio Saracinisco ? They should have information for your ancestors. They sure have it for Biagio Jaconelli (but the actual spelling is Iaconelli, you should check for this surname). You should also check at the nearest Family History Center for San Biagio Saracinisco's microfilms. They have documents from 1811 to 1865, so you'll probably be able to find information on Biagio's parents and probably earlier ancestors, too. Also, the State Archive (Archivio di Stato) in Caserta has the original documents which were used to create the Family History Center films. I found two emails for the State Archive: asce@archivi.beniculturali.it and 027@rpv.beniculturali.it You should write and ask them more information about those names, they can probably help you, too. It'd be better if you write in Italian. If you need any help with it, I'll translate your request in Italian, just let me know :) Remember to be very specific, doing so you hinghen your probability of them finding what you're loking for ;) Here's what's in the registers: Title Registri dello stato civile, 1811-1865 Authors San Biagio Saracinisco (Frosinone). They should have | information for your ancestors. Yes, I went to the church office in Commune di San Biagio Saracinisco in July, and I had a look in the priest's records (church records). That was where I found out that Biagio Jaconelli's parents were Antonio Iaconelli and Anna Tartaglia. Unfortunately, they didn't have more records. | You should also check at the nearest Family History Center for San | Biagio Saracinisco's microfilms. Unfortunately I don't have any more information other than the parent's name and Biagio Jaconelli's date of birth- and death. Would it difficult for them to check for possible Antonio Jaconelli/Iaconelli? Antonio Iaconelli, as well as Biagio Iaconelli, has always been a very common name in San Biagio Saracinisco. But, of course, I would like to give it a try anyway. May I ask you to write a few sentences to ask the Archivio di Stato for help? Maria in Norway
