If it's taken from a church document, then the "padre" would be the priest saying that there are no impediments to a particular marriage because of too close a relationship. If it's from a civil record then it may just be the father of the bride or groom testifying that there's no close relationship between the parties. You should check the spelling of the two words, they may have been copied wrong. "Impetimento" is also mis-spelled; should b impedimento. Benny
