I read with interest the information provided about laws in Italy which prohibit a government agency from providing records indiscriminately. I believe that is a good law in this day and age of Identity Theft. I read somewhere that there are also laws to protect Italian Citizens from the harrassment of someone approaching them to learn if they might be related. Is this true?
