There's a new release (V3.4.7) of KStableau: free software to make elegant hyperlinked trees of your family data, so you can visualize descendant and ancestor relationships and publish them on the web (rather than just boring text). Also, if you have some inbreeding in your family, you can better understand it from a chart. What you need is a gedcom file (exported from your regular genealogical program). KStableau does the rest.
