May I please ask for your help? I am searching for two ladies (or their legal heirs) who have a right to reclaim some property in Prague which was stolen by the Nazis in 1940. One of them must be dead - and I believe that her husband died in Rome. I have: Marie Krausova, nee Glaserova, born June 14, 1890, daughter of Adolf Glasser and Ida Glasserova, nee Munzerova. Last residence in Czechoslovakia was in Prague I., Konviktská 10. Her right of domicile was in Pirenne Rijeka (we are not certain of the spelling here, maybe Pierne Rjeka - but probably Fiume - Rijeka.) She married on March 22, 1923 in church office of Rieka a Mr. Hugo Kraus. She was Italian. He moved to Rome, Italy on March 1, 1950. So - I now need to try to find the DEATH CERTIFICATE for a Mr Hugo KRAUS some time after 1 March 1950. Can I possibly get that from Ufficio di Stato Civile Comune di Roma 00100 Roma (RM) Italy ??? Idf not - do you have a better suggestion?? Also - would you be able to find a FAX number and a telephone for them? I failed to do this from here in London.
