I am researching my great-grandfather (Pietro) Vincenzo Gaudioso b 1875 in Castelnuovo di Conza,(sp?)Italy; and my great-grandmother Caterina Delduca b 1874. Vincenzo came to Canada in 1909 followed by Caterina in 1911. Anyone with any information on these two, feel free to e-mail me. Thanks.

Hi Gerri I have found reference to that name not sure if this will help you. May I suggest something to you. It is difficult to research just 2 members of any given family. It works better that when you research the whole family they will come along with the research. I am not saying it is in possible just more difficult. I have found reference to both of these names. Go to this website ITALY GENEALOGY SURNAME NAVIGATOR Once in the site click on Italy and then type in the name leave all the checks active and click on search. Many site will appear on top of each other also 2 error messages appear just click on ok and they go away. Now work backwards through through the sites. They include the Italian phone book the last 2 sites have names click on them as they have more data in the background. You may find data in other countries? Couldn't find any Gaudioso's or Delduca'sin Castelnuovo di Conza, in Salerno province. Anyways, there are a lot of people sharing these surnames in this province.
