Hi all, I was wondering, can anyone tell me if it is a National Italian customn to put a little salad by your door when you arrive back in your home Village.My Father is Italian,and I've experianced this happen everytime we've gone back to his Home Village in Verbania (Falmenta,near Cannobio) It's a real nice gesture,I always wondered,does this happen all over Italy?
