Hello, I was wondering if anyone is doing research on these surnames (Pensabene & Pellicano)? All I know about my great grandmother is: Name: Pellicano, Santa > Ethnicity: Italian > Place of Residence: Gallico > Date of arrival: November 02, 1902 > Age at arrival: 13y > Gender: F > Marital Status: S > Ship: Sicilian Prince > Port of dept.: Naples, Campania, Italy And she married my great grandfather Pasquale Pensabene. He was from Calabria. That is all that I know about them. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Jeannine
Hi The best research to day is at the Mormon Church Family History Library. They have volunteers to help you etc. It is not necessary to be a member to use the facility. Go there with all the data that you have. Get all the death certificates from the state in the US that you know someone died in. Go to my family website http://www.dellarocchetta.com/ and on the favorite links page there are many research tools. There are links to a Italian Surname Navigator and the Family History Library Location. I hope this helps you Ciao steve JGEverts wrote: > Hello, > > I was wondering if anyone is doing research on these surnames (Pensabene & > Pellicano)? > > All I know about my great grandmother is: > Name: Pellicano, Santa > > Ethnicity: Italian > > Place of Residence: Gallico > > Date of arrival: November 02, 1902 > > Age at arrival: 13y > > Gender: F > > Marital Status: S > > Ship: Sicilian Prince > > Port of dept.: Naples, Campania, Italy > > And she married my great grandfather Pasquale Pensabene.
