Does this mean that every time you want to give someone a web site to visit to possibly help answer a question they asked that you will continue to use this forum as an advertising medium for your site. You don't seem to be able to just give the address of the site that might be helpful. It's always Go to my site and see the links page. Everybody here knows you have a site, must you continually promote it here as a part of neraly every answer you give??? Frank F.

Frank F. or whoever you are, Why do you hide your identity? What kind of BS is notme@nothere.com? You've got a lot of gall blasting Steve when you post with a phony name and address. Basta! Gino Columbo
So what's the point Frank? IMO, there is nothing wrong with the manner in which Steve choses to post. I have yet to see any newsgroup charter that dictates how you are supposed to "promote" your website. His site offers a lot of links and I continually refer people there. No back to genealogy!!! Frank that is unfortunate that you feel the way you do. However you have ultimate control do not read my responses. Also please note that I have no advertising on my website and I pay for it myself.
