    3. hello, i'm not sure if i contacted this list before but i am trying to find out where my gr,gr,grandmother was born FRANCES PASZOTTA born Mar 4th 1874 to HARRY and MARY CARNEY PASZOTTA. her death record says she was born in Germany, but many people say Paszotta sounds like an Italian name. so i thought maybe her father was from Italy and moved to Germany??? or heaven knows!!!! thank you kathy Researching; Dougherty, McLaughlin, Gordon, MacDonald McDonald, Brennan and Shephard in Canada, Ireland, and Phila PA Vollmer (Fulmer), Renz (Rentz), Brauch, Schumacher (Shoemaker), Muller, Blinn and Hofmann in Germany, Ohio and Indiana Baer (Beyer), Paszotta,Carney (Craney), Shutt, Meyers and Jones in Germany, Delaware, Indiana and Philadelphia ----------------------------------------- list "mom" for; Vollmer-L@rootsweb.com Paszotta-L@rootsweb.com Brauch-L@rootsweb.com Germans-to-Phila-L@rootsweb.com GERMANS-OH-STARKCO-L@rootsweb.com ----------------------------------------- my home page: http://community.webtv.net/kathy556/DoughertyGordonBaer

    3. Ciao Kathy, If I read the name PASZOTTA it's possible the sound in italian is PASCIOTTA. or the "sz" is tipical of the poland language. This is only my opinion !
