Everytime I see your name, I have to wonder if you are related? > Thanks for all your info on the LIST! > Sincerely, Deborah Vivona Dear Deborah, Supposedly we are related to a Nigro family in Kansas but we are not in contact. I just called my Dad to double check and he told me a story about the first time he first came to Los Angeles. He was driving down the street and one of those Crosswalk Guards stopped his car and said: "Hey don't you know me?" You're a Nigro aren't you? and he said, "yes I am a Nigro but I don't know you." and she said ..."ahhh go on.... you're [so & so] Nigro" and we went to school together in Kansas City. My dad told her, yes I am a Nigro but I've never even been to Kansas City. She wouldn't believe him and keep repeating, you're [?name] Nigro from Kansas City. So evidently there is/was a Nigro in Kansas City who looks/looked a lot like my Dad. There are so many Nigro in the World that I am emailed daily and asked if I am related to this one or that one. Usually I am not. My Nigro Family comes from San Fele, Potenza, Basilicata. Glad to be of help w/ the other links. I do this for fun...keeps the cobwebs out of the brain..:-)) Best wishes, Paula M. 3. Hi Paula Since your NIGRO come from San Fele PZ, I thought I'd mention that I'm coming across a smattering of NIGRO in nearby Tito PZ. I'm transcribing all their records from 1809-1910. If you're missing anyone, they may have ended up in Tito Grace ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tea Cup" <grn_phc@cnporyy.nospam.arg> To: <GEN-ITALIAN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, April 09, 2002 2:05 AM Subject: Re: Italian Citizenship > "Deborah Vivona" wrote in message > news:OE122Ex3AkwtsQztQoP0001c8d5@hotmail.com... > > Hi Paula, I, like Chris ,am working on obtaining Duel citizenship ,for my > daughter, who plans to live in Italy.
