My grandfather emigrated to the US in 1906 from Accadia, Foggia. He joined his stepfather, Carlo Perlino in Buffalo, NY. I have conflicting information regarding the name of my grandfather's mother. One source shows her name was Maria Carmela Botticella and another Maria Emmanuelle Botticella. The passenger manifest for Carlo Perlino states he was travelling with Botticella in-laws and Palumbo cousins. I am currently extracting info from the Ellis Island website for passengers from Accadia, who they were joining in the US and the next of kin in Italy. Like many other small towns, it looks like everyone in Accadia was related somehow. So.... a big "Howdy" to you cousins.
