There is not "Text problem" at COI. The problem is that people do no understand that we allow only plain text messages onlist. When a person subscribes, the receive a message to confirm that subscription. They must reply to THAT message, not create a new one. If they do not reply to the subscribe message that they receive from the server, it will reject their subscription. Instead of replying to that message, they keep sending new messages. It will continue to reject the subscription until they send in plain text and it is a reply to the original message from the server. The District Director of Naturalization responded with the following. In response to your letter of the 19th instant you are advised that Section I, Article XIV of the Constitution of the United States reads in part as follows: "All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof are citizens of the United States and the State wherein they reside." I think I may be having trouble searching the LDS site the right way to find records from the Archivio Stato for Birth/Marriage/Death. I am either not doing this right or am very unlucky that the reocords I want are not available. Could someone help me by double checking? I tried using the FHLC looking for the town (not on the list) and the region (there but not many records at all).
