    3. Hi Rick I have found the town it is in Calabria very close to the Adriactic Sea. Some of the towns close are also small. Campana is more in land but close. The closes is a town called Cariati Marina. I used the Michelin Tourist and Motoring Altas [Italy] Ciao Steve from Sunnyvale CA. 3. Back in late February I posted to several message boards asking how long the typical wait was for a response from L'Ufficiale di Anagrafe. I mailed the request in early January and was impatient. Today, I received not only the marriage record & birth record I asked for, but also the birth record of the bride & groom (extractions, not actual copies of the record). Thanks again to everyone that answered my first post and for letting me share my wonderful news. LaSondra Researching most of the names in Bagnoli Irpino, Avellino, Campania

    3. Hi, I've just received the 1885 English marriage certificate for my great-grandfather, Amilcare Perutelli. Before I write to Carrara for his birth details, could some kind soul give me the correct middle name for him. It is almost illegible on the certificate but looks like either Domenica OR Dominica. Which is more likely? Thanks for any help you can give, Jane
