    3. I am looking for more information about Antonio Jaconelli (Iaconelli?) and wife Anna Tartaglia. They had the child Biagio Jaconelli (Iaconelli?) on 6/11-1875, in San Biagio Saracinisco, Frosinone, Italy. I don't know if he had brothers or sisters. Biagio Iaconelli was my great grandfather. The church office in Commune di San Biagio Saracinisco didn't have more information about his parents Antonio Jaconelli and Anna Tartaglia. Does anyone know if there exists any record where I may find these people? Maria in Norway

Hopefully you speak English. Found many Starvaggi's on Sant'Angelo di Brolo's phone directory. Have a look here: http://elenco.libero.it/elencotel/engine/WebPersoneOmonimie?nome=&cognome=starvaggi&localita=S.+ANGELO%20DI%20BROLO It's two pages of names, addresses and phone numbers. If you still have relatives in Sicily, you can surely find them here. By the way, from a quick check, looks like Starvaggi family name is typically Sicilian and, in Sicily, it's mostly diffused in Sant'Angelo di Brolo. Have a look at the link, it'll surely help ;) Ciao Fabio

    3. Hi I have found references to your names of interest. Go to this website ITALY GENEALOGY SURNAME NAVIGATOR Click on Italy then type in the lastnames of interst. Leave all the checks active press search. Many sites will appear on top of each other. At times 2 error messages appear just say ok and they go away. Now work backwards through the sites and you will see what I mean. The last two sites have some data and that means someone has research the name and click on then as they have more data in the background. Also I have a site for Calabria Welcome to IL CIRCOLO CALABRESE! it is a good one. Go to my family website and on the Favorite Links page you will find many research tools http://www.dellarocchetta.com/ The best data in the world today comes from the Mormon Church Family History Library 85-90% of my data comes from them. I would go to your local FHL and ask for help they have volunteers to help you and it is not necessary to be a Mormon to use their service. I think the best approach is a mix of all the tools available including the internet which can be of some help. The first rule is talk too the living aunts, uncles, cousins family friends the older the better. I wish I had done more of it and things would of went a lot faster. Any time you need help let us know and we will if we can. Good Luck remmeber there will be times when it gets tough just keep digging. It is just like detective work.
