    1. famiglie di origine romana antica
    2. zorgen

Italy phone directory at http://www.infobel.com/italy/ has 34 Ortello listings. The site of http://www.gens.labo.net/ will show you the distribution of Ortello in Italy. Just put Ortello in Cognome box, and click on the red arrow. To the right of Regione: on the first page is America. If you click on that you can look at the distribution in the US of that name. US phone directory at http://www.infobel.com/usa/ when checked for all states, finds 7 Ortello listings. 1. IV Corso Gratuito di Genealogia e Storia di Famiglia

DOMENICA 26 SETTEMBRE 2004 - 10,00 Maria Loredana Pinotti "La rappresentazione grafica dell'albero genealogico".

Chris, Just did a quick search for Piante in the Ellis Island immigration records. Look what I found. Name - Piante, Raffaele Ethnicity - Italian South Place of Residence - Rapolla Date of Arrival - June 01, 1907 Age on Arrival - 32y Gender - M Marital Status - M Ship of Travel - Neckar Port of Departure - Naples, Campania, Italy I can't copy the ship manifest, the site will not allow that function. You can look at it yourself though. Raffaele is on line 7 on the manifest. Ellis Island site is at http://www.ellisisland.org/ I think you have to register in order to see the manifest. But there is no charge. Take a look. Joe in Texas
