    3. Thanks Joe. I speak only English and a little Italian, so I have no idea how I would locate any relatives in Sao Paulo unless one of them should see this posting and respond. I recently discovered these "new" family names when I obtained information about my G-grand parents, their children and spouses. . My grandparents moved from Italy to Brazil, I am not sure when or why but believe it was because they could not marry in Italy. Until a few weeks ago, I never knew any family remained in Brazil, but now know some did (at least my G-grandparents and at least one of their children are buried there). Thanks again Jean "Tuscana"

    3. Hi Chris: I am also researching my family tree and was just given some information on my GG- Grandparents. I located a "Miceli" (without the De, however sometimes these are added to or left off in translations) My Great-Great Grandfather was Guiseppe Vento GGGrandmother: Guiseppina Macalusco Their children: 1. Giovanni Vento b: 1852 Lercara Friddi (Spouse Domenica ZAGONA) (my great grandparents) Their Children: Concetta Vento (Pietro SFERLAZZA, Louis D'Arcadia) Giuseppe Vento & Maria PLACA (My grandparents) Marianno Vento (Sarina "Sarah") GENOVESE) Maria Grazia "Grace" (Giuseppe SALERNO) 2. Concetta Vento (Spouse Giuseppe DOLCIMASCOLO) (no birth record - believed to have died @21 - in childbirth Cecida (Spouse Salvatore Orlando) (Had 5 boys:Joe, Tony, Jack, Frank & Salvadore & 4 Girls: Mary (husband "Manuel"), Sarah (Joe Palermo), Margaret (Spouse?) Jean (Buddy Orlando) 3. Carmina Vento - (no birth/death records) (Spouse: GIUSEPPE MICELI) * Perhaps this is your relative? (children sound familar?) Their children: Caterina (Spouse: Anthony D'Aprile Tom (Tano) Josephine James Lucia (Spouse: Sam Geraci) (Jerris) Joe Some of this data may be incorrect. I know spelling is in error with many names, as they appear to be translations of Italian (i.e. "Joe" (son) and Giuseppe (father)). I do not know the date of, or city of Guiseppe Miceli. I hope some names click. Doing this research can be very difficult. GIna CLibra wrote: > Hello, My name is Chris. > My mother is Sicilian, and most of our family live out there.
